Jen is an Ottawa gal, and has always been an animal aficionado. Jens' family always had a variety of pets at home (including several strays/rescues) and she was known to be more "in tune" with animals than her own toys! Jen graduated with a Diploma in Equine Studies, and after also working some non animal jobs (What was she thinking?!), she became a Veterinary Technician in 2007 after graduating with Honours from Algonquin College in Ottawa, ON.
Jen has experience working in various veterinary clinics, pet stores, a dog boarding facility, animal education programs, and a bird rehabilitation center!
Vet Tech Pet Services was founded in 2010 after Jen wished to expand on her animal knowledge and experience and also recognized the increased need for in home pet care services. She brings not only a passion for animals, but a desire for humane and quality animal care to the business.
As a Registered Veterinary Technician and life long Pet Owner, Jen offers personal and quality care to all Vet Tech Pet Services clients and their pets.
Jen shares a home with her family, 3 children, foster pets, and is "owned" by multiple small animals (Rats Rule!)
