When Your Pet Needs a Little More Support
Some pets need more than routine pet care.
Whether your pet needs prescribed medication, hands-on medical support, help with mobility, senior care or another specialized service, our RVT-led team can provide experienced support in the comfort of home.
Services are available as standalone appointments, and many treatments can also be incorporated into VTPS pet-care bookings when appropriate.

Standalone vs Pet Care Pricing
Rates shown above are starting rates for standalone Medical/RVT appointments. Medication and medical support can often be incorporated into VTPS pet-care bookings when appropriate. In these cases, pricing is based on the scheduled pet-care service and the treatment, time and level of support required
Medical Care While You're Away
Standalone Medical/RVT appointments can be scheduled when you are home or otherwise managing your pet's regular care.
If VTPS is providing medical care while you are travelling or away from home, we generally require VTPS to provide the pet's scheduled care for the duration of the booking. For safety, continuity of care and liability reasons, we do not normally split medication or treatment responsibilities with friends, family, neighbours or other care providers
Veterinary Instructions & Supplies
Medications and treatments must be veterinarian-prescribed and follow your pet's current care plan. Clients are responsible for providing required medications, proper medication instructions, supplies and treatment equipment
Individualized Care & Suitability
Services are subject to assessment of your pet's individual needs, temperament, handling requirements and our ability to safely provide the requested care
